The Limited Bag Collection
M.A.G. Couture was established in 2021 by Toi Williams. The brand was created as a way to express “our” unique culture through handbags, duffle bags, backpacks, luggage, briefcases and apparel.
“ Ghetto -a quarter of a city in which members of a minority group live especially because of social, legal or economic pressure; an isolated group.” Over time, the word became “synonymous with all things related to stereotypical black, urban or hip-hop culture.” Even more in depth, ghetto can be described as a black woman's actions of being loud, neck rolling, lip smacking and even her sense of style. The industry has picked over the culture, style and way of life, even renaming it in the fashion world as Urban or Street Wear in the efforts to “class it up.” M.A.G. Couture puts an eccentric spin on a lifestyle that others borrow from but never give true respect to because of its, seemingly, less than desired appeal. By introducing “Boujhetto” to the world, we don't have to color within the lines, because in reality, there aren't any lines.
M.A.G Couture Limited bag collection gives not only a unique buying experience, but also a collection made to be an investment for its buyers. Imagine the “Air Jordan” of bags. Similar to other brands we will have a “classic” design that can be purchased year round and a quarterly release of a limited custom bag that will only be released once in a limited quantity. This gives the customer a purchase that can be an investment for the future. Each custom bag comes with a free gift. Consumers will be able to buy and customize our yearly release to their liking our select the already made design.

“Unapologetically BouJHetto”
In 2021 my Girl Gang and I made vision boards. At this time I was lost on what I wanted to do in life and what direction I wanted to take. The plan was to make 5 bags, I ended up making 6 and selling 5 of them.
